Alora Bell is an instructor at Bay Ballet Academy. Our new ballet school in San Jose teaches students of all ages and skill levels.
ALORA BELL
Alora Bell is one of Bay Ballet Academy main ballet instructors. She specializes in beginner dancers of all ages. Her ballet and teaching training began more than 15 years ago at Morgan Hill Dance Center then South Valley Dance Arts. For the past years, she has studied with Maximo Califano who is the Director at Bay Ballet Academy. She has performed in multiple Nutcrackers and Spring Shows, including Bay Ballet’s Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and Coppelia. She is also a Patron of American Ballet Theater. Alora believes that dance should be fun and inspiring for and accessible to all.
Janelle Bell
JANELLE BELL
Janelle Bell graduated from San Jose State University with a BFA degree in Dance in 2018. Janelle has been dancing since age 9 and teaching ballet for several years. She teaches all levels of ballet and other dance styles and loves working with children. Janelle has studied ballet at Morgan hill Dance Center, Lana’s Dance Studio, South Valley Dance Arts, South Bay Dance Center, and Bay Ballet Academy. She has also studied with ABT’s summer intensive in 2012 and Kirov’s ballet academy intensive in 2014.
Janelle has been the main muse for Bay Ballet Academy's new productions. She has danced the lead roles in Swan Lake as Odette/Odile, Sleeping Beauty as Princess Aurora and Coppelia as Swanilda.
Serena Rodriquez - Lyrical Jazz Class - Bay Ballet Academy
SERENA RODRIGUEZ
Serena started dancing when she was six years old studying jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, lyrical, and pointé. She started competing in dance by the age of 8 and continued all the way through high school and college. She also danced for a pro team and has gotten the opportunity to perform in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Orlando. Now, Serena is studying to get a degree in dance while teaching all around the Bay Area in jazz, lyrical, hip hop.
